![]() If you find that the lateral G's are coming out too high by a factor of about 10, then that data is probably still in m/s^2, and needs to be divided by 9.81 in a spreadsheet program, and then saved back into CSV format for RaceRender. That should give you workable G-force displays, although the accel/decel could be slow to react since it's coming from GPS. RaceRender è il software per PC che ti permette di imprimere sul video i dati del tuo veicolo. Assuming that it's the lateral G's, you could double-click on your data file in RaceRender's Input Files list, then set "G-Force X (Accel/Decel)" to "(Calculate)", and "G-Force Y (Left/Right)" to "G(calibrated)". Quickly create amazing videos with custom data and graphics overlays, GPS telemetry, multiple camera picture-in-picture, 360° video, and more. Looking at your 'G' data fields, it looks there is raw uncalibrated 3-axis accelerometer data in m/s^2 which probably isn't too useful unless you aligned their axis' exactly with that of your vehicle, and then a "G(calibrated)" field that could be useful here. Download the latest version of RaceRender free. Ideally, you'd use actual accelerometer data instead. In any case, calculating G-forces from the GPS is not ideal because it wont react very quickly like you'd see with accelerometer data, and any hiccups in GPS accuracy will throw it off as well, but I've found that some users very much want this capability regardless. Bug Reports If you encounter a problem that is not covered by the documentation, and you believe it is a bug or glitch in this software, please submit a bug report so that it can be investigated. ![]() The lateral calculation is much more involved because we have to look at acceleration around a curve, calculating turn center points and such. Problems & Troubleshooting Please also see the Questions & Answers, Edition Differences, and Technical Information sections for more information. Accel/decel is simple because it's just determining the acceleration from the GPS speed, in m/s^2 and then dividing by 9.81 to get G's. It seems that RaceRender is not picking up the 'G' data in your file, because it isn't used to seeing those particular field names for it, so it's most likely calculating G-forces based on the GPS movement. ![]()
